Waitress days.

Nadia and Trouble traded tales of waitressing as they lunched together at Castle Tree Cafe, on the other side of Bigsplat. Calypso and Nadia talked about Italy. I didn't say much. Most people don't much like me and I do hate to mess up other people's friendships. I'm Mannie.

I have no interesting cooking stories today. We've been unadventurous. Sticking to old favourites. I do have a duck in the freezer though... so.

Angelata loves scissors.

Angelata wants magenta scissors, two pairs. One to be kept (secret) in a pencil case belonging to Calypso. For us. For clothes and secret scissor business we might have. The other to be CHAINED to the kitchen bench. CHAINED.

There are broad beans silverbeat in this dish - the only fresh (non leftover) ingredients.

There is also;
leftover roast pumpkin
a little bit of leftover roast lamb
some peas from the roast lamb dinner
leftover coq au vin (with carrots and onion)

Leftover minestrone.

Is not minestrone made yesterday or the day before... it's a minestrone of leftovers.
I'm just about to make it.
